The Girl Behind the Blog
So I'm your average Joe (Josephine?). Nothing inherently exciting about me.
I grew up in a suburb outside of NYC and currently live nearby. I graduated from The Pennsylvania State University where I learned a lot about life from the many different people who I came in contact with. Along with a small group of friends from college, I primarily have the same friends from home who have put up with my angst-y, poetic self since elementary school. I do most of my traveling with these people, which is extremely lucky (not sure if they see it that way).
I have a 9:00 to right-before-I-shut-my-eyes job that I love very much. It takes up most of my time, mostly because I let it.
I love traveling, obviously, but the part that makes me the most excited about doing it is getting to that new place and taking in a huge gulp of fresh air. Not kidding. It is my blog's namesake.
There's just something about closing your eyes, forgetting about the sometimes overwhelming obstacles of life, and taking it all in.
The feeling never gets old, and that is why I will continue to write about it until it does.
