Remember last post when I promised I would be less whiney? Poor timing since it is my favorite holiday.... Valentine's Day!!
Just Kidding. I hate it.
I could just allow this GIF to be my entire post, but that would be too cynical and petty. I am neither of those adjectives usually.
Anyway. Here we are at another Valentine's Day. I decided that I will use the obvious theme of love to focus my thoughts; however, I am going to take the other fork in the love road, and talk about current stuff that I love instead of people because, well, that's what I can talk about.
And instead of talking about my love of traveling... I will go out on a limb and just speak of general affinities.
So. First. I am loving me some Fleetwood Mac. I think I have always loved them, but currently they are speaking to my soul. As is Bob Dylan and Tom Petty. Am I currently going through a "real music" phase?!
Though if I were to squash that theory in one sentence, I would add that: I am also currently obsessed with that new Noah Cyrus song. And by new, I mean her only song...
Sue me.
Anyway, also at the top of my "Love List" is Thin Mint Cereal and Cherry Pepsi. Consumed at the same time.
I am loving candles that work via battery and via fire. Especially ones that smell like marshmallows and flannel. A bold combination, if I've ever sniffed one, but delightful.
I am loving The Crown (on Netflix), as well as A Dog's Purpose (the book)
I have taken to following The Dodo (on Facebook) for happy animal videos that cleanse the mind.
I continue to love flavored seltzer. Currently, I am partial to the black cherry variety.
I love retired Obama. He looks so so happy.
And now I am realizing that I need to get a life.
Although I truly love the life I live right now. Don't get it twisted.
I'm dancin' on my own just like that Robyn song, only I feel like my moves are more attractive.
This post was super important.
Anyway, HAPPY VALENTINE'S DAY!
And in the word's of a famous Jersey-girl,
Much "love and light"
