I'm Back

I wasn't sure if I'd be able to find a gif with Arnold saying anything but "I'll be back.", but it's 2019, so what was I worried about.

Anyway... here I am 3 months later, with no exciting news or anything. In fact, I bring you quite the opposite:

I am being a responsible adult and not going to New Zealand and Fiji this summer.

I called my best travel buddy to let her know, and it went better than I would have handled it... because I am a snot and my friend is the greatest. She totally understood I am a helpless when it comes to finances and that I just would not be able to swing it this summer.

Not if I want to keep living in my apartment and eating food. . .

So it goes: Wait one more summer and THEN vacation of a lifetime. No biggie.

Until then.... what am I possibly able to post on here?

Well, after some thought and suggestions from a trusted individual... I think I may turn this into a slightly different journey blog: The Journey of Regaining My Health and other Fun Occurrences

You see, my whole life has been one big yo-yo... usually ebbing on the side of overweight and sometimes flowing into normal weight status.

With my sister's wedding on the horizon... aka my big moment as maid of honor

(as I like to joke with her)...

I need to be healthy and ready to refill her glass with the finesse of a veteran butler,

hold her dress as she utilizes the bathroom

as smoothly as Pippa Middleton escorted Kate up the red carpet,

and most importantly: catch that freakin' bouquet.

Jk. I don't do flower tosses.

But that's what this will be... mixed with some travel dreams and love letters to foreign cities I wish to visit.
